I just had a great, relaxing weekend. I haven’t had such a one in a long, long time. What a way to kick off reading week!

Friday night I went out to Vinnie’s with Jacqueline, Mike and a few other friends of ours. It was a fun evening of walking around downtown T.O. while waiting for some other people we were meeting to arrive. Eventually we got to the restaurant/bar and had our meal around 9 or 10 (can’t remember). It was okay – I had calamari with sweet & sour sauce on it (it was nice, but cold so not that great) and angel hair pasta with some awful tomato sauce and peppers on it – ugh! I ate what I could, but I swallowed most of it down with water. It was nice to hang out with those friends though.

Saturday I got ready for a night of boozing with Shannon and a couple of other people. I went to her friend’s place and we had a good time, watching movies and talking about stuff. It was a nice way to spend a Saturday night. I drank quite a bit, but I didn’t puke, nor did I feel like crap the next day (apart from not having had enough sleep for the past 3 nights). We got up around 10 and had eggs and bacon for breakie.

At 1:30 I headed out to go snowboarding with a couple of guys from school. We went to Blue Mountain – what a drive! I’d forgotten how far it is (don’t worry, they paid for my gas). We got there around 6 and boarded for 3 1/2 hours or so. I actually got down the hill in one piece! I was able to do turns! I was able to go on steep parts of the slope!! Except when it was icy… but still, I did it!! I can actually snowboard now!! *jumps for joy*

But today I’m aching all over. My arms, back, stomach, calves and thighs all ache. It’s odd, I can lift and hold things, but if I try to hold my arms in a certain position without anything in them, they shake like mad.

Anyway, I have lots of work to do this week now. Clients to attend to, homework to attend to… and today I’m off to school to pick up an ISIC and hopefully get a good deal on it. We’ll see.

Must run!
