Street market, prep for Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year took up the whole 2nd half of February, and then into March.
These pictures were taken at a special pre New Year street market.
It was VERY crowded here, but really interesting. People were buying lots of stuff, ready for the celebration.
The actual holiday (a week off work) lasted from 17-25 February, but there was another public holiday on the 28th, so it just went on . . .
Then after everyone was back at work, the celebrations seemed to go on well into March (more on that later).

Lots of Sweets.

Lots of dried fruit/veg

Dried fishes

Fish Roe (expensive)

Dried shredded pork (many different bits of the pig).
